About The Luci Foundation – Making Sports Accessible for All Children
Founded in 2021, The Luci Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to making sports accessible to children from all financial backgrounds. Our mission is to break down financial barriers and ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in sports, build confidence, and feel a true sense of belonging.
Established by professional athlete Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, The Luci Foundation is rooted in the values of inclusivity, equity, and opportunity. We believe that sports should be for everyone, and we work to create pathways for children to develop their athletic skills, connect with their communities, and thrive both on and off the ski hill.
At The Luci Foundation, our goal is to empower underprivileged youth through sports, giving them access to the transformative benefits of teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.

The cost of living, sports equipment, and club or organization fees are just some of the expenses that are rising every day. As a result, more and more children are being excluded from sports. Every year, The Luci Foundation offers financial assistance to children who lack the resources to pursue their dreams in sports. We believe that every child—regardless of their background—deserves the opportunity to follow their athletic passions and reach their full potential.
